How long does the total process take?

The total process takes approximately one week. We schedule two dates: the first date we pick up your doors and the second date we come to your home to paint the cabinet frame and hang the doors.  Depending on the kitchen size, we could be in your house for 1-2 days.  You still have your kitchen to use throughout the majority of the process.

Do you spray?

No, we do not spray, but we use a self-leveling, high-quality paint that does not show roller marks or brush stokes.  It's called Emerald Urethane and it is a water/oil hybrid paint. A satin finish paint is used unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Do you paint the insides of the cabinet box?

Accepted Answer

The quote you received does not automatically include the inside of the cabinet box.  We paint both sides of the doors, inside glass cabinets and the inside lip of the box.  If you would like that option, please let us know and we'll be happy to accomodate your request.

What is your project process?

We clean, sand, prime and apply several coats of paint for the exceptional quality outcome in your home. A satin finish paint is used unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Do you apply a top coat?

No, the paint we use does not require a top coat.  The final product is thorough, complete and high-quality. A satin finish paint is used unless otherwise requested by the customer.

How long does it take for the paint to completely harden/dry?

Accepted Answer

It takes the paint two weeks to totally harden.  However, you can return to life as usual 24hrs after completion of your home project.

Question 7

Does the quote include paint and supplies?

Accepted Answer

Yes, all paint and supplies are included in the quote you receive. A satin finish paint is used unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Question 8

If we are planning on getting new countertops and/or backsplash should we get it done before you paint?

Accepted Answer

We have done projects both ways, however, it's best practice to get those things completed first and the paint process to come last.
